GAIL FOLEY

Gail Foley is running for Newtown Borough Council, representing Ward 1.

Gail has a degree from Penn State University in Electrical Engineering and a master’s from Drexel University in Digital Communications. Gail spent 6 years in Silicon Valley, CA working on state-of-the-art communication systems, and 20 years with Lockheed Martin in Princeton and Newtown. Her background includes System Development, Program Management and New Business.

Gail and her husband, Newtown lawyer Chris Culleton, have lived in Bucks County for the last thirty years and have three children, who are all graduates of Council Rock School District. From 2014 to 2018 Gail was a member of the Northampton Township Planning Commission and since moving to the Borough has worked as an elections official.

Gail Foley is running for Borough Council because she has the background, energy and work ethic to make a positive contribution to good government in Newtown. Her engineering background gives her the problem solving skills conducive to good public management. She respects the need for historical preservation, while embracing change that improves our community in the present.
