Josh Phillips is running for Newtown Borough Council because he believes in the good neighbors of Newtown and wants to represent their vision and values, utilizing his community organizing experience.

Josh recognizes the need to both preserve the historicity of the town while encouraging the vision for sustainable growth. This vision includes thoughtfully creating spaces of interest and community engagement, from improving parks, adding trails, or sponsoring new borough events. He believes that a Responsible government is a Working government, one which promotes responsible infrastructure expansion, maintenance, and sustains our emergency services.
